What Is Vibe Coding?
What if you could make a computer game just by TALKING to your computer, like you talk to a friend? You could say, 'Make a red cat that jumps when I press space!' and the computer builds it for you. That is called vibe coding!

Telling, Not Typing
A long time ago, to make a computer do something, people had to type special code words very carefully, like abracadabra for computers. One tiny mistake and nothing worked! Now, smart AI helpers can listen to plain words, like 'draw a blue circle,' and turn them into that special code all by themselves.
You Are Still the Boss
Even when the AI helper builds something for you, YOU are still in charge. You have to look at what it made and ask: Is this what I wanted? If the cat is purple instead of red, you get to say, 'No, make it red!' The AI tries again. This back-and-forth is a big part of vibe coding.
Saying 'make it good' is hard for a computer to understand. Saying 'make the circle bigger and change it to green' is much clearer and gets you a better result.
Checking the Work
Sometimes the AI helper gets something wrong, just like people do. That is why vibe coders always look carefully at what got made before they say it is finished. Looking closely and fixing mistakes is one of the most important jobs in vibe coding.
Grown-up computer builders use vibe coding too! Many real apps and games today were started by someone simply describing what they wanted out loud or in writing.
