What Is Vibe Coding?
Vibe coding means building an app, game, or website by describing what you want using regular words โ just like talking or texting. The AI reads your description and writes the computer code for you. Your words are your superpower. The clearer and more specific you are, the better the AI understands and builds what you imagined. Instead of: 'Make a game' โ which is too vague! Try: 'Make a game where a red spaceship shoots green stars and loses a life if it gets hit by an asteroid.' Better words make a better app every time.
How Vibe Coding Works: Step by Step
Here is how vibe coding works from idea to finished app: Step 1: Have an idea. What do you want to build? A quiz? A story? A game? A drawing tool? Step 2: Describe it clearly. Talk to the AI like you are explaining it to a friend who has never seen it. Use details: colors, sounds, rules, what happens when you click. Step 3: Review what the AI made. Does it match your idea? Probably close, but maybe not perfect. Step 4: Give feedback. Tell the AI what to change: 'Make the button bigger.' 'Add a score counter.' 'Change the background to blue.' Each round gets better! Step 5: Share it. When you love what you made, show it to friends and family.
Being specific is everything. 'Make it fun' does not help the AI at all. 'Add a sound effect when the character jumps' is much better. Practice describing things with lots of details and your apps will be amazing.
